7:00-7:30 Feature Presentation: Creating and Producing Content in 3D
Presented by JMR
JMR and Assimilate demonstrate how their technologies make stereoscopic video production a nearly effortless process with the BlueStor DigiLab Video Server. During the workshop, attendees will see and learn how DigiLab and Assimilate have changed the production and post-production landscape, from ingesting and transcoding RAW footage, to viewing and making real-time adjustments to convergence and first light color correction, all “on-set.” DigiLab allows the user to manipulate 3D footage in a real-time environment, thereby eliminating the high cost of lab fees and guesswork by offsite technicians that can break a producer’s budget.
7:30 pm - 9:00 pm Panel Discussion and Presentations
Presenter: JMR
JMR demonstrates their new BlueStor DigiLab Video Server, powered by JMR’s PCIe extender technology. DigiLab provides a solution for monitoring, transcoding and playing back high resolution stereoscopic 3D footage in real-time. DigiLab’s additional components include an Nvidia Quadro 5800 FX GPU, RED Rocket Accelerator Card, and Assimilate Scratch digital production software. The unique combination of hardware and software provides unmatched performance and flexibility for viewing, color correction, convergence adjustment, and transcoding for offline editorial formats such as Avid DNXHD, or the creation of rough cut dailies in Blu-Ray format.
Followed by Speakers.
